Brandon Ames became an attorney to stand between the government and the accused, to uphold the Constitution and ensure every person, regardless of their background or circumstance, receives a fair and fearless defense. Before becoming an attorney, he undertook everything from investigation duties, legal assistant roles, and paralegal positions with multiple Public Defender’s offices both here in Colorado and Minnesota, the post-conviction unit of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, and the Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel. Most of this work was accomplished while Mr. Ames was pursuing his law degree and working full-time at one of the largest personal injury firms in the state.
